Service/Maintenance Technician

My Fireplace is seeking to hire a full-time Service/Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 3 years experience. Join a growing family owned and operated company which has been in business for over 25 years.

Candidate Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years service/maintenance of furnaces, air conditioners air handlers, heat pumps, water heaters, etc experience working with residential HVAC equipment. Experience with Fireplace service and maintenance an asset.
• Valid G2 Gas Technician LICENSE REQUIRED. 313D License an asset but not required.-Valid Ontario Drivers license - Drivers Abstract will be completed
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong problem solving and time management skills
• Knowledge of workplace safety and Working at Heights training-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work individually and with a team-must be punctual and dependable

Candidate Responsibilities

• Perform service, diagnostic, maintenance and repairs of furnace, air conditioners, boilers, water heaters and related product to the highest standard
• Instruct homeowners on proper care and operation of equipment
• Collect payments on site from customers
• Complete all required paperwork, work orders as per company policy and remit daily
• Represent My Fireplace in a professional, and customer service oriented manner at each appointment

This is a full-time year round position.
